  • 6 eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp baking powder
  • 300 g melted butter or margarine
  • 2 lemons
  • 200 g powdered sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease a springform pan and set aside.
  2. Cream together melted (and cooled) butter or margarine with sugar and add the eggs one after another.
  3. In a bowl whisk together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to the butter-sugar mix. Pour batter in the pan.
  4. Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. After baking take a toothpick and cut in a few stitches. Now take a tablespoon and slowly pour over the lemon Juice. Mix the rest of the Lemon juice with the powdered sugar, decorate the cake.
  5. Can be refrigerated.
